In 1983, Ozark Softscape created one of the best multiplayer computer games of all time. "M.U.L.E." was an economic strategy game for one to four players, striving to develop a newly colonized planet.
OpenMULE is designed to "resurrect" this great game, with a modern code base that runs on modern machines.
OpenMULE is a complete rewrite, sharing none of the code or other assets (including graphics and sounds) with the original. It will always be free, with source code available, and should run on any modern Windows, Mac OS, or Linux machine.
